Build the Water Merchant, a compact single-masted sloop that brings the character of a traditional working sailboat to your model collection.
This 1:50 scale kit builds to a finished size of 48.5 cm L × 11.3 cm W × 55.3 cm H (19.1 in × 4.4 in × 21.8 in), with a hull length of 34.5 cm (13.6 in). Laser-cut basswood structural parts and walnut hull strips provide contrasting wood tones, while the single-mast rig offers a more approachable introduction to wooden sailing ship modelling. Computer-aided 3D design, interlocking assembly features, illustrated instructions, and reference plans help guide the build from hull construction to the finished display.
