On 3 August 1492, Christopher Columbus departed Palos de la Frontera with three ships and a crew of around 90 men. The Santa María served as his flagship; the swift Pinta was first to sight land on 12 October 1492; and the nimble Niña — Columbus’ personal favorite — carried him safely home to Spain. Together, these three vessels completed one of the most consequential voyages in human history.
Each model in this collection features a warm brown wooden hull, white fabric sails with period-accurate heraldic emblems, and a gold or black anchor detail — faithful to the original vessels and finished to display-ready standard.
