Histoire et récit

From the 17th to the 19th century, the naval cannon was the defining weapon of sea power. Mounted in rows along the gun decks of ships-of-the-line, these iron behemoths could hurl solid shot, chain, or grapeshot across hundreds of yards of open water — deciding the fate of empires in minutes of thunderous broadside fire.

Operating a naval cannon required a crew of up to six men working in a choreographed sequence: loading the powder charge, ramming the ball, running the gun out through the port, aiming, firing, and swabbing the barrel before the next round. The gun deck was a world of smoke, noise, and controlled chaos — the engine room of naval warfare.

This 1:30 scale diorama captures that world in miniature: a planked deck, a wheeled cannon carriage, stacked shot, a powder barrel, and the tools of the gun crew — a precise and evocative tribute to the age of sail and iron.

What is your return and damage policy?

Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placement. After 24 hours, cancellations are no longer accepted as production may have begun.

Returns: We do not accept returns for change of mind. If your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at service@oceanrelicstudio.com with photos of the item and packaging — we will arrange a suitable resolution.

EU customers have the right to cancel within 14 days of delivery under EU consumer law.
