A 1:48 scale wooden model kit of the legendary Viking Drakkar — the fearsome Norse longship with its snarling dragon prow, red-and-white striped sail, and row of painted shields, built by your own hands from premium black walnut wood.

This kit recreates the legendary vessel in meticulous detail: the sleek planked hull in rich black walnut, the carved dragon prow, the row of painted round shields along the gunwale, the striped red-and-white fabric sail bearing a serpent motif, and complete rope rigging — all assembled by your own hands from precision laser-cut parts.

⚠️ This is a model kit requiring assembly — not a finished model. Tools required: hobby knife, tweezers, wood glue, sandpaper (not included).

History & Story

The Drakkar — or dragon ship — was the most feared vessel of the Viking Age. Sleek, fast, and shallow enough to beach directly on shore, these longships carried Norse warriors across the North Atlantic, into the Mediterranean, and up the rivers of Europe between the 8th and 11th centuries.

The carved dragon figurehead at the prow was believed to ward off evil spirits and strike terror into enemies — a symbol of Norse power that remains iconic to this day.

What is your return and damage policy?

Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placement. After 24 hours, cancellations are no longer accepted as production may have begun.

Returns: We do not accept returns for change of mind. If your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at service@oceanrelicstudio.com with photos of the item and packaging — we will arrange a suitable resolution.

EU customers have the right to cancel within 14 days of delivery under EU consumer law.
