A 1:30 scale wooden sailboat model kit — a classic two-mast cruising sailboat with a bold blue-striped hull, built by your own hands.

This 1:30 scale kit reproduces the Spray Boston profile in laser-cut basswood and quality plywood, with double-layer outer planking for a smooth wood-grain finish, fabric sails, and a full rope rigging system. At 66.6 cm finished length, it is a manageable build with a strong visual result — well-suited to those stepping up from their first kit.

⚠️ This is a model kit requiring assembly — not a finished model. Tools required: hobby knife, tweezers, wood glue, sandpaper (not included).

The Spray is one of the most famous solo sailing vessels in history — a 36-foot oyster sloop rebuilt by Joshua Slocum and sailed single-handedly around the world between 1895 and 1898, the first solo circumnavigation ever recorded. Slocum’s account, Sailing Alone Around the World, became a classic of maritime literature.

The Spray Boston captures that spirit of independence and seamanship — a classic cruising sailboat design that rewards the builder with one of the most elegant silhouettes in recreational sailing history.

Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placement. After 24 hours, cancellations are no longer accepted as production may have begun.

Returns: We do not accept returns for change of mind. If your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at service@oceanrelicstudio.com with photos of the item and packaging — we will arrange a suitable resolution.
