A working-boat subject for your next maritime build: the Sea Imp XII tugboat at 1:20 scale.

The Sea Imp XII Tugboat Model Kit features a fibreglass hull and twin 775 motors. The completed model measures 50 cm long, 28 cm wide and 35 cm high, excluding the mast. The example shows a grey-and-red hull, a white wheelhouse with wraparound windows, black fendering and a tall mast, giving this tugboat a distinctive working-vessel profile.

The kit includes laser-cut panels, decorative fittings, lighting components and motors. Electronic building instructions are available on request; please contact us. Basic model-building knowledge is recommended.

🔧 This is a model kit, not a finished model. Assembly and painting are required. The completed model shown is for reference only; the final finish depends on your build.

⚠️ The electronic speed controller (ESC), servo, power supply and radio-control equipment are not included and must be purchased separately.

HISTORY & STORY

Sea Imp XII is presented by the supplier as a Fraser River tugboat subject, associated with timber towing around New Westminster in British Columbia, Canada.

This 1:20 scale kit brings that working-boat theme to a fibreglass-hull model with twin 775 motors. Its wheelhouse, surrounding fendering and open working deck distinguish it from sailing-ship and warship subjects in a maritime collection.
