History & Story

On the night of 14 April 1912, the RMS Titanic — the largest and most luxurious ocean liner ever built — struck an iceberg in the North Atlantic and sank in under three hours, taking more than 1,500 lives with her. It was one of the deadliest peacetime maritime disasters in history, and the story of the Titanic has captivated the world for over a century.

Built by Harland and Wolff in Belfast and operated by the White Star Line, the Titanic was 269 metres long, displaced 52,310 tonnes, and was considered virtually unsinkable — a symbol of the confidence and ambition of the Edwardian age. She carried some of the wealthiest people in the world, as well as hundreds of emigrants seeking a new life in America.

This Deluxe 80 cm model is a tribute to the Titanic at her finest — not as a wreck, but as she appeared on the morning of 10 April 1912, leaving Southampton for the last time, her four funnels gleaming, her decks alive with passengers and crew. Handcrafted in Ocean Relic Studio’s Zhoushan workshop, where artisans have been shaping maritime heritage into lasting objects since 1980.
