HISTORY & STORY

The Mayflower completed one of the most consequential ocean crossings in Atlantic history — 102 Pilgrim passengers, 66 days at sea, from Plymouth, England to the New World in 1620. The voyage established the Plymouth Colony and set in motion the founding of what would become the United States.

A small, unremarkable merchant vessel by the standards of her day, the Mayflower became one of the most famous ships in history — not for her size or speed, but for what she carried and where she went.
