HISTORY & STORY

The Danmark is a Danish full-rigged sailing ship built in 1933 and used as a training vessel for the Danish merchant marine. During World War II, she served as a training ship for the United States Coast Guard, earning an enduring place in maritime history on both sides of the Atlantic.

With her gleaming white hull and towering masts dressed in full sail, she remains a symbol of Danish maritime heritage and transatlantic friendship — still sailing today, nearly a century after her launch.
