The Cutty Sark is one of the most celebrated sailing ships in history — a composite clipper built in 1869 in Dumbarton, Scotland, designed to carry tea from China to Britain at record speed. Today she is preserved in dry dock at Greenwich, London, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a symbol of British maritime ambition at its peak.
