This 1:72 scale kit features a double-planked hull in laser-cut basswood and quality plywood, fabric sails, and a full rope rigging system with period-accurate deadeyes and blocks, creating a commanding display piece that honours one of the most iconic vessels in maritime history.

🔧 This is a model kit — assembly, painting, and rigging required. Tools, adhesives, and paints are not included and must be sourced separately.

The Bluenose launched in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia in 1921 and went undefeated in the International Fishermen’s Trophy for seventeen years — a record that made her a national symbol, commemorated on the Canadian dime to this day.

Built as a working fishing schooner and racing vessel in one, the Bluenose was the fastest and most celebrated ship of the North Atlantic fishing fleet — a symbol of Canadian maritime pride that has never been surpassed.
