The Alexander von Humboldt is one of Germany’s most iconic tall ships, celebrated worldwide for her extraordinary emerald-green sails. Originally built in 1906 as a lightship, she was converted into a sailing vessel and became a beloved fixture at tall ship races and regattas across Europe.

Named after the legendary German naturalist and explorer, she sailed as a floating symbol of adventure and discovery until her retirement in 2011 — instantly recognisable in any port by her unmistakable green sails.
