The Niña — formally named Santa Clara — was the smallest and most nimble of the three ships that sailed with Christopher Columbus in 1492. She was a caravel, a type of light, fast sailing vessel favored by Portuguese and Spanish explorers for its ability to sail close to the wind. Columbus himself considered her his favorite ship, and she made the return voyage to Spain safely after the Santa Maria ran aground.

This model captures her compact caravel profile: a warm brown wooden hull, white fabric sails bearing the red cross of the Order of Christ, heraldic flags at the mastheads, and a black anchor at the bow — finished and display-ready, no assembly required.
